Christmas Advent

I found a super cute idea to make a Christmas Advent Calendar using a cookie sheet! Super easy, and super cheap!

I bought a $3.00 cookie sheet at Walmart and found some cute Christmas paper at Roberts Craft Store. I used spray adhesive to adhere the paper to the cookie sheet, and decided that this stuff is my new best friend! Love it and use it for EVERYTHING! It has replaced my love for the hot glue gun! I used my Cricut to cut out the letters, numbers and Christmas ornaments to decorate each magnet.

I used chipboard and covered them with paper, decorations and attached a magnet to the back. I drilled two holes and threaded ribbon through to hang. You could also just but it on an easel or decorative plate holder too! Not to shabby?

Enjoy the Holidays! Only 24 more days until Christmas!!!!

Okay, so I joined your blog in hopes to become more "crafty" and get some great ideas.
Here is the problem...I don't understand alot of the words you are using, ie. Cricut, chipboard... Am I hopeless?

Either way I LOVE the Advent!

Oh my dear Megan! A Cricut is an electronic cutter. You can cut just about anything. Paper, vinyl, fabric, chipboard, etc. Check out the Cricut website! Chipboard is like a thick cardboard that is cut into shapes, letters or designs. You can adhere paper, embellishments to it and it gives a three dimensional look! If you don't have a cricut, you can buy stickers or chipboard at the craft store and they work too!

You are not hopeless. Go browse the nearest craft store...you will find everything you could ever dream of! Love ya!
