Spooky Halloween Invite

I really wanted to make this invitation from Martha for my upcoming Halloween party. However, when I kept pricing things out, it was very much over my budget, especially the rubber mold stuff.
So here is my knock off version. The coffin boxes I got on clearance last year for super cheap. I got the skeleton hands from Roberts in a ten pack and filled with some Spanish moss and tied a black ribbon around one finger.
Ooooo, I really liked how they turned out. Get going, get those parties planned and set a date. You know you want to party Halloween style.
(pictured on my newly completed table-runner. Julie posted hers long ago.
I am just getting mine done!)

Very cute! I like your invitations better than Martha's! Those rubber fingers are just a bit too creepy for me!

I love your spin on the 'Martha' invitation. Did you know you can buy the invitations pre-prepared from Jo-Ann ETC? They are in the Martha Stewart Halloween Collection aisle and they are pretty reasonably priced, especially if you can use one of your coupons!

I would love to get one of these in the mail! I love the idea of using the hand instead of the finger, great job!

I linked up too, hope you can stop over!

Hi there ~
So cute you really did a great job on these invites, Congrats! I would love to know if you hand delivered them or mailed them out. If you did mail them, did you find a good or inexpensive way to mail them so they arrived safe and uncrushed? Just wondering...Thank you, Christy

Christy,
I hand delivered them. I'm not sure how to mail them. I guess you would need to put them in another box to mail them, maybe a box that checks come in would be a good size? Good luck with that. We hand delivered for a personal touch! Enjoy and have a great party.
