Halloween Subway Art!
Want to make one of your own? Here's the how to:
SUPPLIES:
One board whatever size you prefer. Mine is 12x18 MDF board. You can use glass too!
Vinyl in preferred colors and transfer tape
Paint
Glaze
Paint Brush
DIRECTIONS:
1. I painted my board white, then glazed over it using a gray/black tint.
2. With black paint, paint on spider webs in desired areas.
3. Cut out Halloween words in different sizes, fonts, and colors. I cut out a witch hat, spider, pumpkin, black cat and spooky tree to fill in the little spaces.
4. Arrange on the board to achieve the look you are going for.
5. Apply your vinyl.
There you have it! Pretty simple and really fun! If you don't have a "cutting" machine to cut out vinyl, you can always paint it on free hand!
Happy Haunting!!

Cute project! I usually don't like music on blogs but I am loving the Halloween mix!
I don't have a cutter and my subway art took me 3 days. What kind do you have? I'm trying to decide what to get for myself. :-) Sandra
Sandra, I used my Cricut and the Sure Cuts A Lot (aka SCAL) program. I love my Cricut and love it now even more that SCAL has provided so many more options other than expensive Cricut cartridges. Tara has the Silhouette cutting machine and has been very happy with it.
Hope that helps!!! Good luck and let me know what you end up getting.
I wish I had a Cricut...I would probably be putting Vinyl all over everything :) Very cute project!
We would love to feature you. Come on over to our site and check us out..
Also we have a free beadboard giveaway going on now
This so fun! I asked Santa for SCAL for Christmas, to use with my Cricut! Do you have a good place to get vinyl?
Ash, I usually just buy vinyl from our local craft store (Roberts) and sometimes online. I haven't found anything fabulous yet. But if I do, I will let you know!
I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I linked to this post today from the Home & Garden channel at Craft Gossip. :)
